Doshisha University

The Graduate School of Global Studies (GSGS) at the Japanese Doshisha University is an independent graduate school launched in April 2010 in response to the recent emergence of global issues such as transnational migration and environment issues, approaching global questions with an emphasis on both the unique features of individual areas of expertise and a cross-regional perspective. ValEUs will profit from cutting edge research in transimperial history conducted at GSGS, as well as its regional expertise in Eastern Asia. DU will coordinate the ValEUs Working Paper Series.
